How long does it take to become compliant?
The app starts tracking prices immediately. However, you'll need 30 days of price history before the 30-day lowest price can be displayed. During this period, the widget will show appropriate messaging.
Does the app work with all Shopify themes?
Yes! The widget works with all Shopify themes, including Online Store 2.0 themes and custom themes. For OS 2.0 themes, you can add the widget through the Theme Editor. For vintage themes, we provide a code snippet.
What happens if I change a product's price?
When you change a price, the app automatically detects the change and updates the price history. The 30-day lowest price is recalculated in real-time.
Can I exclude certain products from tracking?
Yes, you can exclude products individually or by collection. This is useful for products that don't require compliance (e.g., services, digital goods).
Does the app affect my store's performance?
No. The app runs entirely in the background and doesn't add any JavaScript to your storefront. The widget uses Shopify's native metafields, ensuring zero impact on page load speed.
